In August 2025, Pentraze Cybersecurity made history by competing and achieving second place in the Red Team Village CTF (RTV CTF) at DEF CON 33, the world’s most important cybersecurity conference, held in Las Vegas, USA. It is one of the most demanding competitions at the event, bringing together companies, universities, and hacking communities from around the globe. This achievement marks a milestone for Dominican cybersecurity and demonstrates that our technical talent can compete at the highest international level.
Beyond the competition, DEF CON 33 served as a space for learning, collaboration, and networking, where our team strengthened its cohesion, explored new strategies, and built valuable connections with global experts. Every challenge overcome contributed to deep knowledge that we will apply in future projects.
